Recycling: Stack-Cup ensures less waste
When thousands of people this December gather for 22nd IHF Women's World Championship in the four host cities, Herning, Kolding, Næstved and Frederikshavn, they can look forward to carrying drinks safely and easily in and around the venues.
DHF has signed a co-operation with the company Stack-Cup, which is the national partner of the event. Stack-Cup produces special plastic cups with large handles that make it easy to carry several cups at a time. The cups are made of durable, hard and environmentally plastic that can be recycled.
"In addition to the environmental benefits as less waste and reduced CO2 compared to conventional disposable cups, the Stack-Cups also provide a number of benefits like simpler handling of cups and drinks for both hot and cold beverages. In addition, guests receive the opportunity to have a souvenir in the form of a beautifully decorated cup," says Jakob Evert from Stack-Cup.
At DHF Stack-Cup is welcomed for the obvious practical benefits and for the souvenir purpose:
"We know the drill: You buy drinks for the whole family, and then comes the problem of carrying the full plastic cups through the crowd and up to the spectator stands without spilling it all. The problem is now solved with this cooperation, in addition it also allows us to decorate the cups with the Heart of Handball logo," says Henrik Jacobsen CEO, DHF.
